In preparation for our upcoming wedding, Nick and I spent the better part of Tuesday planting row upon row of sunflower seeds! We planted every variety under the sun- from the Kong Hybrid, a classic which grows up to 14 ft tall with a bloom 10 inches across, to the Italian White, a more delicate white petaled flower with a chocolate center, we planted yellow, orange, and white flowers, bushy flowers, tall flowers, pollen free flowers, mixed blends of flowers,... you get the idea!
As we finished, a beautiful double rainbow appeared in the sky as a few drops of rain began to fall.
